Professor Meyers-Lopez has been involved in numerous insurance-based matters including coverage analysis and opinions under liability, commercial liability, automobile and uninsured/uniderinsured motorist coverage claims. She regularly
handles cases involving complex claims of causation and liability. Professor Meyers-Lopez represents carriers in proactive solutions to prevent the risk of loss including declaratory relief actions and motions for summary judgment and/or
adjudication.

Prior Legal Experience

Professor Meyers-Lopez was involved in handling a wide variety of cases, including employment (wrongful termination, discrimination), breach of contract lawsuits, errors and omissions claims against real estate agents and brokers. Professor Meyers-Lopez also managed a prior firm's Summer Associates Program.

As a law school student, Professor Meyers-Lopez worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice, Trial Division and Bonneville Power Administration, Power Section. In those positions, she helped research various legal issues and drafted
various memoranda to supervising attorneys.
